Horta Doll

I wanted to buy a horta doll after it was shown on TV. I thought that my niece would like one. Several years ago I had seen some horta dolls in a mall, but couldn't remember what mall it was and what store. So I ordered this online. To save postage I bought 3: one for my niece, one for my boss, and the 3rd was originally for a friend's birthday present, but in the end I sold it to one of my uncles. Fortunately, my boss asked me to take care of hers, so I could take pictures of its progress. First picture is the doll, still wrapped. Next is the 1st, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 11th day. Today is the 30th day and the grass are still growing. My friend in the US tells me that they have something similar: The Chia Pet.

Doraemon & Nobita from Kidzu Bento

These two little figures are very cute! There is also Shizuka, but these two best friends are enough for me. If Hoka-hoka Bento came out with the whole set, including Suneo and Giant, perhaps I'd be tempted to get them all.

Update July 16, 2009

Finally : the whole series!

Doraemon from Kidzu Bento

I wasn't too fond of the meal itself because the scrambled egg tasted almost nothing (but other menus from Hoka-hoka Bento are okay), but the souvenir was very cute: Doraemon followed by the little Dino. There are two kinds of Doraemon figurines: one with eyes open and the other one closed (because he is laughing).

Doraemon magnets

Every Rp 40.000,- purchase at Indomaret, we would get one Doraemon magnet. The promotion is now over and there are not many I can collected. Half of them even come from my niece, who is kind enough to give me some of her collection. There was a special album with lots of magnets, but I thought it was too expensive. This was only for fun, anyway.
